A night back in 2014, channeling the best of the era's pop culture and swag, in costume.
Interlude Society conceives, designs, and builds immersive experiences where story, hospitality, and technology meet, for brands, teams, and hosts who want their world to outlive the evening.

In music, an interlude is the bridge that carries you from one idea to the next.
Interlude Society lives in that bridge, where story meets technology and worlds that don't usually share a room come together as something unexpected. Every space begins with a story and a reason to exist, then gets built so people can walk inside it.
Past worlds, built and hosted, alongside concepts in development that bring technology into the room.

Discuss scopeI'm Amishi, founder and creative director of Interlude Society. By day I'm an aerospace guidance, navigation, and controls engineer. The rest of the time, I design the kind of evenings people are still talking about months later.
Those two lives turn out to be the same discipline: systems that respond to people. A spacecraft reads its sensors and adjusts; a great room reads its guests and does the same.
I learned that in college, running campus events and orientation programs for three years. Today, I design themed gatherings across San Francisco, and every one still starts with the same question: what does this room need to feel?
My work draws on a lifelong throughline of storytelling across dance, theatre, painting, and costuming, a childhood spent across cultures, and the conviction that intentionally bringing people together is a craft worth taking seriously.
Tell me about the space, the people, and the feeling you want from your experience.
